I'm about a week into learning SwiftUI, but I wonder if it wouldn't be much faster to use React Native given my familiarity with React, and that I may want to develop for Android if the apps prove popular.
There are a few apps I want to make, the most complicated of which is a workout tracker/logger (with widget) that will allow your create routines and track what exercises to do and when -- preferably using both local and cloud based storage.
So far UI work in Swift is basically drag and drop and it's easy to make sure text and images are properly sized depending on device type. However, I find the component architecture of React more intuitive/familiar than whatever SwiftUI is doing. But I've also heard a horror story or two about using React Native, so I'm not sure. At the moment there aren't any job market considerations for me, I just have some personal apps I want to make.
Anyone worked with both RN and Swift that can share their experience?
