Front-end web vs iOS Career Path

Post Body

I've exposed myself to both and really enjoy both. Right now I want to pick one and just put all my effort and time into learning it though.

I hear iOS development is extremely hard to break into and I guess that has deterred me a little. But on the other hand I hear web dev is really saturated. If I had to lean towards one it’d probably be iOS development and I already own a MacBook, iPhone and basically everything Apple.

I just started the second semester of a computer science degree and I have no dev work experience yet.

In your opinion, what would be the smartest route?
