Connecting iMac & PC

In theory would I be able to run a dual monitor setup with iMac & PC? I want to either extend the iMacs display to my other monitor and be able to easily switch back to PC setup to game or I would like to have them both running simultaneously and be able to drag from iMac display to pc display no issue
