I am trying to connect my custom domain with HostGator to my iCloud account to set up the custom domain email. However, every time I try, I get an error that tells me to check my MX records. I had HostGator update my DNS records after I tried updating them myself and it didn’t work. I also reached out to someone on Fivver and they couldn’t figure it out either. Has anyone run into this issue?

For reference, I’m on a shared hosting plan and this is not the primary domain. I ensured the domain was unlocked and did all of the troubleshooting as instructed in the email from Apple. The only thing the person I reached out to did was change the TTL to 3600 from 14400. I’m not super tech-savvy, so I don’t even know what that means to be honest. Any help is appreciated.
