iBUYPOWER Subreddit Rules and FAQ - Please Read
Post Body

Rules:

Rule Zero: Include Specs of your PC in your post!!! PCs are so varied and complex that most questions are incredibly difficult to address without knowing the PC's specs.

  1. Be respectful. Everyone has bad days, don't ridicule other posters because of questions or issues they have.

  2. No shills. If you are posting too often about particular brands, whether good or bad, you may be asked to stop.

  3. No trades. This is not a place to discuss CSGO skins.

  4. The Subreddit is not an official venue for important transaction related information. Please try to reach our customer service through phone, live-chat, or preferably on discord.gg/iBUYPOWER first before asking here and/or sharing anything about payment, order cancellation, or order modifications.

  5. We're not psychic. If you have a question about your order, make sure to include your order number in your post. The 6 digit alphanumeric code cannot be used by anyone other than an iBUYPOWER employee so there is no risk of personal information getting out. Please do not post your zip code or any other personal information in the public forum. You may also PM me /u/iBUYPOWER-Brad regarding updates.

  6. Check the FAQ section before posting, your question may already have been answered.

FAQ:

1. Why is my order taking so long even though other orders are shipping?

we try our hardest to push orders out in a timely fashion, but sometimes things fall behind. Systems do not strictly follow a first-in first-out pattern so there may be a variance of a few days when comparing your scans to someone else's. Also keep in mind that laptops are assembled much faster than desktops, so make sure the other person isn't talking about a laptop.

2. My order has been at X step for Y days, is this normal?

depends on the time of year and how backed up production is. standard build times have orders progressing through most steps within 2-3 business days. After Black Friday, its more normal for orders to spend a week in the pre-assembly steps. If your order has been in a particular phase for a long time, and you don't see anybody else asking about delays, then please PM me /u/iBUYPOWER-Brad with your order number so I can check if there is something abnormal
