For those on your early to mid 20s, how was recovery?

After years of fighting, today I finally got approved for my hysto!! Me and my family were teary during my appointment when we got the good news.

So I’m 25, on average how easy is recovery at this age? I expect it will be easier the younger I am. They’re taking everything out except the “hormone orbs” and Iv been put on hormone blockers finally too so I expect to loose quite a bit of weight before my surgery sometime next year. I’ll be giving myself a minimum of 1 year to heal, I’m more worried about the pain I’ll endure during recovery.

Iv been unable to work because of this awful parasitic organ so I don’t have any job to hurry back to
