For those on your early to mid 20s, how was recovery?

After years of fighting, today I finally got approved for my hysto!! Me and my family were teary during my appointment when we got the good news.

So Iā€™m 25, on average how easy is recovery at this age? I expect it will be easier the younger I am. Theyā€™re taking everything out except the ā€œhormone orbsā€ and Iv been put on hormone blockers finally too so I expect to loose quite a bit of weight before my surgery sometime next year. Iā€™ll be giving myself a minimum of 1 year to heal, Iā€™m more worried about the pain Iā€™ll endure during recovery.

Iv been unable to work because of this awful parasitic organ so I donā€™t have any job to hurry back to
