Ovary pain two years post op?
Post Body

Hey yall. I am almost two years post op from having uterus, tubes, and cervix removed. I kept my ovaries because I’m 29 and have never had any issues. A couple months back I starting having pain where my ovaries are (mostly on the right side) and two months back I started having hot flashes. I’m now on a low dose of estrogen and that helped immensely with the hot flashes, but I’m still having a lot of pain. I had an ultrasound of my ovaries, and my ob/gyn said they looked normal, even though one of them was hard to find and only visible abdominally. My doctor recommends removing the one ovary that hurts the most and leaving the other, but with the other one starting to hurt like the first one, I’ve thought about just having both removed.

Has anyone had any similar issues? Any advice?

Thanks!
