Had vaginal hysterectomy last Tues, removing all, but ovaries. It was for uterine prolapse. Was able to come off all meds by Friday. Just having lower back pain, but can feel a protrusion when wiping and showering. I’ve had two bowel movements since surgery, but no straining involved.
From googling it seems it could be a bladder prolapse with the back pain, but I’m not sure. It does feel weird when I urinate and I get more back pain when urinating. It took me a while to urinate after surgery because I couldn’t feel anything, but I was finally able to go and they were able to keep the catheter out. I left a message for my doctor, but has this happened to anyone else so soon after surgery? Could this be another prolapse so soon or did something not go right in surgery?
