Congress (or whatever legislature is in your country) does not exist anymore. Laws are passed each year by redditors instead, who use politics-related comment karma as votes.

Let's say you get into an argument about health care in /r/politics or /r/changemyview. All the upvotes you get from your comments are added up.
At the end of the year, there are a few days devoted to passing new laws. One of those days would include health care as one of its topics. You can then use your karma as votes against other redditors on that day.
