A divine being appears to you one day and informs you that you will be going to hell once you die.

For purposes of the scenario, the being is not lying to you.

They explain that in hell, you will experience agonizing physical torture, and excruciating mental and emotional torture forever, and nothing you can do in hell will allow you to escape.

There is nothing you can do to prevent your fate after death while living (like going to church, praying, etc….)

BUT they explain that there is one thing to prolong your life….

You must kill one person to prolong your life by one month.

The being caps your life at 80. If you do not kill anyone, you will instantly die on your 80th birthday.

Furthermore, the being ‘blesses’ you by granting you the power of never physically aging, immunity to all diseases, viral infections, cancers, debilitating conditions and disorders forever while you’re alive.

Nobody will know or believe that a divine being told you this.

What are you doing?

Edit 1: for sake of simplicity, if you manage to prolong your life to the point where humans evolve into something else, that new ‘species’ of ‘human’ (for lack of proper scientific terminology) will still count as a ‘person’.

Edit 2: the month added on to your life after killing someone is exactly 30 days.
