CURSE YOU 300 character limit!
So, to explain.
A "Random Omnipotent Being (hereafter called "the ROB") appears to you and tells you that after it stops explaining a 72-hour count-down will begin, then you, anything you are physicaly holding or wearing at the time, and certain "extras" will be Isekai to a generic "Tolkinesque" JRPG fantasy planet; but there's a catch; you and anyone else who responded to a post much like this one some years before on an obsucre website you used to frequent will be the only people sent; you, your held/worn possesions: AND the things owned/possesed/acessable to the main character of any three games you chose to play in the next 72 hours. These things must be things the character could in theory pick-up and move in the game, or eqipment they can wield/wear, even if they deffinitely COULDN'T move all of it at once; and/or things/beings that the other members of "their faction" would openly admit they "owned", like a horse, pet dog, robotic workers, or buildings.
While you CAN play more than three games, only three will give you rewards; AND you get any "special powers" that the proteagonist can have in the game COMBINED when it's over, IF you've earned them. As some examples, if your character in Skyrim has learned how to use the enchant/restoration loop efectively by the end of the 72 hours, you can too; and a protagonist from Satisfactory will give you the ability to build everything you've unlocked in that time the same way they can in-game; but nothing the character HADN'T earned will be unlocked to you, although in some cases you might be able to still learn it. You get the abilities of the furthest point you reached in the game even if dying set you back quite a bit after reaching that point, or something.
Now, that being said; there's a few limits.
1: you only get the DEMONSTRATED FEATS of your chearacter, not any inferred ones; as an example, while you can lift MULTIPLE TONS by playing MINCERAFT, you cannot jump like superman if not encumbered as a result.
2: you have to make a fresh save starting the game from the begining for this; you can't just log-in to your skyblock account and spawn to Isekai world with enough potatoes to sink a cruiser, or something.
3: Furthermore, if the character is customizeble, it has to be made to look enough like a VERSION OF YOU that your friends and relatives would peg it AS a version of you instantly, if possible in the game engine, to the best of your ability, and where posible, you have to match your own traits as well, play them how you would behave in that situation if you were inside that game but assumed that this is actualy going to give you the rewards promised at the end of the 72 hours and your character is aware of it too.
4: You have to play a game that has, or at least CAN have, one specific character which is "You", not something like Sim-City or Dwarf Fortress. (Well, I supose you could do "Adventure Mode" for Dwarf Fortress...) Stuff like "The Sims" or "Rimworld" are edge-cases, you'd have to do a "solo run" for games like that. With only one full protagonist character closely modeled after yourself.
5: The game CAN be modded, but only in ways that add more things that are real to the game or grant acess to things the game-world's internal logic SAYS should be both possible and likely, especialy if other people have already canonicaly done it in the base game, (Looking at YOU uncraftable Fallout 4 "Raider" and "Horse" power-armor parts! [and any power-armor not being able to have lead shielding AND be painted.]) or "totaL conversion" mods that efectively turn it into a different game, and which will count seperately. All oficial DLC counts as core content for this purpose.
You also get a subliminal auditory and visual coutdown of the time you have left for the 72 hours: even if that would normaly drive you MAD with distractiuon, it wont in this case: and all of this is something you will be aware of and have explained to you by the ROB. You can also ask the ROB a few questions, which I will edit-into this post as updates if they are ones I think are important for everyone to have an answer to.
What games do you pick, and why?
