Would you rather have a car that never needs gas or a car that never breaks down?
Post Body

Option 1. A car that never needs gas or be charged but can still break down, overheat, and tires need replacing, etc. Assume it will need maintenance at a normal rate unless your driving requires more maintenance.

Option 2. A car that needs gas but the gas tank is only 5 gallons max but the engine will never fail and the tires never need replacing. Assume you’ll need gas and not EV charging. You are also not allowed to carry extra gas with you.

In both cases, you can assume the car is a normal consumer car of your choosing. And you will need to pay for gas or maintenance in either scenario.
