Alright, I believe a cleansing of this subreddit is long over due.

The purpose of this is to empower and to inspire a sense of safety in those who fear participating in this space as a result of predatory persons. I encourage all participants to report any person who had at any time or is currently harassing, targeting or otherwise giving unsolicited contact to them.

Here's what you can expect from this subreddit and its moderation going forward.

If anyone has sent you unsolicited DMs to you before the time of this post and you send an image of the message showing that the user in fact sent it, they shall be warned.

If anyone sends unsolicited DMs going forward, they shall be banned.

If any user attempts to use pressure or other forms of coercion on another user, they shall be banned with no opportunity to appeal.

Unsolicited images of obscene content shall be met with ban with no opportunity to appeal.

Seeking people out solely and/or explicitly for sexual intentions or for sexual gratification shall be addressed on a case by case basis with consequences ranging from warning to an indefinite ban.

If you are banned because you sent unsolicited DMs, you must write out each of the rules by hand and send it to moderation in order to be unbanned. If there is a second offense, you will be banned with no opportunity to appeal.

This is the very least that can be expected and is not the limit to actions that will be taken by moderation going forward. Stepping forward about these persons shall be greatly appreciated because it will improve the experience of the subreddit as a whole. A support space must be a safe space and getting rid of unsafe people is essential to maintaining that.
