Dead skin not coming off..
Post Body

Basically, no matter how much i try, i cannot get dead skin off of me.

I stay 30 minutes or more in the shower (to be honest, i used to have trouble showering at all even once a week so...) scrubbing with a rag and (i just got, maybe i am using wrong) African net sponge, using dove body bar and body wash, when i think i'm clean after going over the same area 3 or more times, i never am.

The moment i try to dry down my legs or any body part, i see dead skin finally rubbing off on the towel (like.. tiny rolls of dead skin) . After drying, i rub my arms to see if that is still there. Dead skin coming off. I don't stink or anything, if you need that.

My diet is not bad but could be better, my water intake is.. not so decent. I'll drink about 1 and a half bottles of water, 2 or 3 if i ate spicy food/food that makes me dehydrated (under estimate but you get it, i should be drinking more water.) . Could anyone give me reasons why and general help on this?

edit: also, i used to use almost burning hot water for baths and showers.. recently made it cooler to just a bit warmer than lukewarm. I see a lot of "dry skin" comments, so just a bit more info on my showers. I've only had eczema on my scalp before.

Comments

try moisturizing more and using a chemical exfoliant instead of actually scrubbing ur skin. sometimes i have to do that for my dry hands
