How do people just not know how to wash?
Post Body

I see these posts a lot, people just not knowing how to wash. like what? it's not rocket science... apply soap and water, rub, rinse. should be self explanatory. I had it figured out when I was 7. no one ever had to teach me. I just can't put myself in a headspace where I wouldn't be able to figure out what to do. if you are not mentally disabled and can write a sentence on a computer to ask how to do it you can figure out how to clean yourself. it's probably the most basic thing next to breathing.

Edit: ok the general consensus is "Not everyone had someone to show them how"

My dad died when I was 3.

I never had anyone to show me how to do male grooming things like shaving for example. No one sat me down and said ok this is what you do... Are some people just not capable of trial and error? I taught myself how to shave once I was old enough. it took me a while but I learned.

Yup. Iā€™ve learned many things on YouTube university, so I donā€™t take these excuses.

Agreed. Thereā€™s also Google and YouTubeā€¦

I donā€™t go for this ā€œno one taught me, no one showed me, etc etcā€ bs. We live in a world of Google and YouTube. Look it up.
