Pulsed led grow lights?

Hey all, lurker and larper here.
I was wondering if anyone knows if any grow lights can be pulsed.
I've read a few studies that show positive results (50% power cost, <10% growth reduction), but when I went looking for pulsed lights, nothing.
Did they use non-commercial lights? Or maybe multiple lights in a sequence (which would explain why nobody does it).
Anyone else know anything about pulsed lighting?
