I got a HECRAS question, for CLOMR purposes I am supposed to tie into the effective floodplain.... The map that I am given does not have BFE's elevations to tie into.... My only option is to tie to the thickness of the flood plain, but the first thing I am doing is capturing all the runoff before it reachea the down streamn portion.... Under my existing calculate conditions I calculated about 300 cfs reaching the downstream area, with the proposed conditions only 30 cfs are reaching the downstream....This cause a major flodplain reduction how do you make the tie in?
thanks!
