Lactose intolerance when you travel abroad.
Post Body

I hate making posts that are not that to r/hyderabad. But this is kind of related to r/hyderabad. Bear with me. I was born and brought up in Hyderabad. I spent 23 years of my life in India About 14 years of that was in Hyderabad. When I was in India, I used to drink milk, eat yogurt, eat milk based sweets, I never experienced any problem.

Then I came to the US for my masters. For the last 7 years now, I have been suffering from lactose intolerance. If I drink even half a cup of milk without taking a lactaid pill, I feel bloated, I have to go to the bathroom every 20 minutes. This never happened to me when I was in India. Now even when I return back to India and drink milk and stuff here, I still experience the same issue. Has this happened to anyone else?
