Can we create a pinned post that addresses portable units and window units?
As technicians, we don’t work on them. The service call would always be more expensive than simply buying new. The solution is always the same. Buy any of them because they are all the same quality. Maybe just consider warranty length or purchase an extended in store warranty. I see a ton of these posts and it’s always the same responses.
i dont think the mods want to deal with all the crap of actually deleting all those post.
an automod that post that as a response would be annoying, but much more effective.
plus this sub is more about how much they can do themselves. generally speaking, the ones posting here are either broke, cheap dumb, or some combination of the 3.
