Smell of gas from under the stove

Came home from work and smelled a faint gas smell or so I thought, checked around and it smells like gas under the stove top.
Pilot light on furnace across the room is lit and seems fine, flame is blue like normal and I did flick a lighter absentmindedly in my bedroom and well no boom haha.
As it’s late, I need to know if this is okay to sleep in here tonight with or without windows or if I should just sleep somewhere else for the night
