I bought a home and it came with a Sanyo KS1251 in the master bedroom, but it appears to have been either disconnected or broken. The home is fairly new, built ~13 years ago. The previous owners installed two ducted central AC systems, one for the common area and one for all bedrooms. It doesn't have a remote but I read thru a manual and tried to use its manual power/test functions which also did not work.

I don't use the central AC much because electricity is very expensive here and half of the bedrooms are not used when my kids are not in town. I'd like to get the unit running again to cut down on costs and only use it as required. Wondering if its worth troubleshooting to see the issues or if I should just look at replacing it. It has a line run to outside and looks like it was used for a while before the central went in.
