Second time my plenum has collapsed now up in the attic. Decided to fix the problem which is that I only have a single 12x24 filter for the system and it creates a hell of a draw. Adding in two more intakes to improve draw and airflow in general. Spent entirely to many hours making these from foam board. Was able to make them as fold up panels so the seams are all 45βs with the foil layer still intact. I still meshed and sealed all the inside and outside edges then covered with foil tape. I probably went above and beyond but I wonβt have to worry about any of it ever again and now I can run the better filters instead of cheap ones.
