It's a surprisingly deep burn and one that I find has amazing impact on someone who is an emotional and psychological masochist. It's always done privately, thoroughly, often slowly, but moving in the same direction: hair, make-up, outfits, accessories, appearance, demeanor, and more. Very often the subject needs a long cooling off with overcompensation before she wants to do it again, but I generally find that she does.
