After looking at the results of the poll I posted, responding to comments,  and formulating the first story of many I'm proud to introduce the adventures of zelita and Alex.

Galactic Date: 87776

"I was asked by the captain to log entries every sol cycle from now on. They want detailed reports of the logs every 10 sols. This is because of the decision that was made 30 sols ago by the galactic freedom federation. As of 30 sols ago a new species called 'humans' were added to the federation as the 357th species to join. But these 'humans' are unusual. We know next to nothing about them, and what we do know is a mix of loose facts and rumors. The fact that they were able to convince the federation leaders into letting them join the federation is astonishing enough.  Not to mention that this new species is classified as deathworlders. Out of the 357 species in the federation the 'humans' are one of three from death worlds. And because of their recent addition to the federation, all federation ships must have at least one human crewmate whether we want them or not.  We have just received our own human crewmate this sol.The human crewmate Alexander orias, as their name, has been assigned to live in the crew quarters next to mine and because of that the captain has assigned me to watch over the human crewmate and "study" them. The role that our new crewmate is assigned too is electronics technician and has a secondary role set before them by their planets government as a human ambassador. In time we shall be able to learn more about the new species that has joined the federation."

Z: "oh no."
