Advice - should I look for a new job?
Post Body

I’ve been at my new job for 2 weeks now. The work environment at all levels of the organization are very toxic. My boss has been very harsh and unnecessarily mean to me, taking her stress and frustration with the organization, out on me. She has a TERRIBLE habit of telling me I can do something or that she doesn’t care what I end up deciding to do and the following day, she entirely forgets what she told me the day prior. She has apologized to me EVERY day that it’s happened saying “I feel I may have been a bit harsh with you, I want to apologize. I am not normally like this. Please bear with me. I’ve been doing it alone for so long.”.

I’ve accepted her apologies and tried to just forget and chalk it up to the stress of having to do too jobs for several months prior to my hire.

Today a C-executive came into my office and was shit talking my boss. After they left my office, I told my boss concern of the executive putting me in a weird position with the things they said. My boss was not happy and confronted the executive . The executive said that I must have misunderstood them. Now I feel like executive now thinks I’m trying to start something (they used my name).

I am just beginning to feel very uncomfortable. Should I have a conversation with the C-Executive to smooth things over? Should I leave it alone? Should I find another job? It’s been A LOT in just 2 weeks. Advice on what you’d do in these situations - PLEASE
