Iāve been in the HR field since 2003 in a variety of roles but my favorite is Benefits. Iāve been unemployed for a few months, interviewing for positions and being ghosted on all of those so far. Something I find very crap for any HR department, especially with jobs IN the HR dept. My mini-rant and advice seeking is this: I had done a Zoom interview with the HR director of a local business. I felt it went really well, then heard nothing for a couple weeks. This past Friday, Iād been away from my email all day and about 5pm when I checked it, there was an email from the director telling me they were doing second round interviews with the team āthis Friday, Dec 30thā (same day) with a few time slots. This email shows it was sent Friday morning at 7am. I replied apologizing for not seeing it sooner and could we reschedule. No reply. Iāve never had someone send an email at 7am asking me to come in that day between 8am and 11am and it feelsā¦. Weird. I canāt think of the right word for it, Iād like to send another email but not sure if a) I should even bother, considering and b) if I do, what I should say. Any advice? TIA!
