I’ve been looking forward to hula since I got my presale tickets months ago, I had to sell my tickets last year because I couldn’t get off work and all my friends backed out. I don’t have a hula crew anymore and as of now I’d be doing this solo. I’ve done solo concerts but never a whole solo camping festival. On the one hand it’s like this is a cool opportunity to meet new friends but I’m also wildly insecure and feel like I’ll just end up sitting be myself the whole time. Also I only have 3 personal days to use all year (im a teacher so that’s until June) but lately there’s been a lot of death around me and I’ve used 2/3 of my days on attending important funerals… the days I was planning on using for hula :/
So do I sell my tickets and try again next year? Doing hula isn’t easy on me financially lol
I feel like my souls needs it but will it even be the same experience of resetting my mental health without my friends with me?
I’m just so back and forth right now of do I back out of not, and I need to decide now it seems, times gotten away from me
