Hi all,
Taking my wife for an impromptu trip for her 30th birthday to Angry Orchard in Walden NY. Planning on spending Saturday at Angry Orchard, but wanted to take her to a few wineries or other cideries on Friday and would welcome any recommendations.
If context helps at all- We've been to the Finger Lakes countless times. Favorites there are Hermann Weimer (by far our favorite), Dr. Frank, Damiani, Lameraux, and the cider at Hazlitt. My wifes favorite is rose, but we're fans of both red and white. Semi dry is ok, but we are not fans of "sweet"
At the moment my research has pointed to: Whitecliff, Baldwin, Robibero, Brimstonehill, Brotherhood, and Benmarl. With that said, I haven't been able to find all too much research, so I'd love some others thoughts here. I'd really appreciate not only recommendations of places to go, but also if any of the places I named either are more known for their sweet wines or their ambiance more than their wine quality.
Xposting to r/Newyork and r/wine
Thanks for the help!
