I have an old Asus eee 1005HAB laying around that I want to rip the mobo out of to turn into a small HTPC. The problem is it only has a VGA out and I'd prefer to use HDMI.
Since I plan on just using the mobo, I was wondering if anyone knew if there was an LCD Mobo Header to HDMI component that I could purchase so that I could use HDMI out.
I've had bad luck with VGA-to-HDMI adapters with buggy audio/video. I don't know if this solution would be any better, but I was hoping someone who had experience with doing something like this could let me know if it is a viable solution, or if it is not worth pursuing.
Thanks in advance!
