Do you guys ever attach sentimental value to otherwise common or valueless items?

I used to do this way too much. Like, ALL the time. I'd often end up feeling attached to things if they had just a handful of good memories attached to them, or just because they were something I got a long time ago, or for other random reasons. And it was getting ridiculous, bc I couldn't always hold on to those items, so I had to un-learn doing this (to some extent). Can anyone relate?
