I forgot to water and now roots are too dry

I forgot to water for a long time and the leaves themselves are ok. I checked the roots and some of the roots are dry and crinkled. There are white normal roots tho. I soaked it for solid hours. Should I just ignore the issue and keep water as normal?
I didn’t forget the other hoyas. Just the krinkle8 I forgot 😂
