I want to write this reddit post to say this:
Stop Reading Self-Help
Seriously, just stop.
It is really easy to become addicted to reading self-help books. You think that you're making progress, but you're not. You're just getting a temporary high. The feeling fades, then you want to read another.
Stop reading self-help. If you want to see actual improvement, get life experience by experiencing failures and making mistakes. Learning from your mistakes and failures is the ultimate self-improvement method that is out there.
