Post Body

It was actually this morning, that i drove to school alone for the first time! I noticed that noticed and even said out loud to my dad that i was very nervous (my dad is the EPITOME of a honey badger) and he asked me this question that, imo, every honeybadger should ask themselves:

"What's the worst that could happen?"

Earlier this morning, I started to give more fucks than I'd like to say on this subreddit, but i told him, "I might get lost." (I have a genuine fear of getting lost on the road by myself." He replied cooly with, "If that happens, then pull over and call me and I'll help you out." I thought out loud, "But what if my phone's dead?" My dad then responded, "Then find a gas station/cornerstore and ask them for directions. Don't be afraid to ask for what you need."

He also added, "Look, thestone2, I'll drive your sister to school (my sister's school--fuck it, I'll say the city name--is in Austin and conveniently located along the way to my school, which is in Pflugerville.) and then you can go on by yourself from then on."

to summarize what happened, I made it to school, all in time to realize that i forgot my lunch! :) (fortunately, someone lent me theirs)

Overall, the experience i had was... free.

(for right now, i really don't care about the spelling/grammar/capitalizaton errors.)
