How do I stop the SiriusXM app from automatically starting up when I crank my vehicle when I’ve already closed it?

I got the app on my phone and even tho I close it, it automatically starts up when I get in my vehicle. I drive all day for work and it gets annoying as hell. Is there a setting? Any help yall can give me?
