It's funny how in my early 20s I didn't care so much or know what I wanted in a woman. I had low standards, and I truly believed with all of my heart that looks didn't matter to me. This stayed true to some degree, but mostly because my relationships at the time weren't about building something long-term, even if I thought it was.
The truth was that I was unhappy and insecure. I wasn't ok with who I was and needed validation from someone else. It took me another 10 years to figure it out and make something of myself, but here I am, with an insane list of what I want. These aren't hard requirements, and I'll be generous, but I wonder... How many of these do you fit? Are unicorns real?
Let's start with physical requirements!
- Caucasian
- Slim/fit
- Short
- Blue / Green eyes
- Blonde
Personality/interest:
- Someone interested in self-improvement
- Similarly, trying new things and being okay with tough conversations
- Being into internet culture / PC gamer
- Loves to eat
- Likes working out or physical activity
- Competitive
- Family orientated (doesn't need to be their family, just the idea of family is important)
- Happy with their life, or pursuing changes to get there
- Wants to travel
- Would eventually want kids
- Kinky or affectionate
This would be the ideal person if we got along well. I don't reasonably expect for anyone to fit all of them. In reality, only a couple of these need to be filled.
- Attraction
- Similar goals/interest
- The chemistry and empathy to understand one another
