I know this probably isn't the sub for this, but I'll test the waters. So I'm not sure if I'm looking for anything long term just yet, but I definitely know that I would like to have someone to go out and do things with. To explore hidden gems, learn about one another, share our excitement about xyz, and be giddy when we are enthusiastic about inviting the other out. I'm sure if everything works out and we truly enjoy the other's company it could become a long term thing. I would love to keep this local or at least within daytrip distance.
I just moved to the Houston area from out of state so I don't really know anyone here yet and am trying to find my way around (still getting lost just driving on the highways lol.) I'm pretty nerdy so I enjoy going to conventions, card shops, boardgame days, anime, manga, etc. but I also enjoy going out for a drink and conversing, walking a shopping strip and pointing out all the cool little things we can try, attempting to play sports poorly, watching one another game and joking about it, and anything else as long as it's with the right person or group of people. I'm pretty easy going and don't need the event to be great, just the company that I'm with. I enjoy banter and witty responses. Please be someone that enjoys asking questions whether they be mundane like "what my favorite smells are" or anything deep. I want that back and forth you have with a friend, not the dead conversations you have when you're just answering questions from a sheet of paper. Honestly I'm a pretty open book, so ask me your questions even if you feel like they're stupid, I wont judge!
