I had called to have my AC vents cleaned. I was quoted the price of $150 for each of my 2 units. When the representative began the process he showed me that I had mold in my vents and recommended that I get the sanitization package. Although more pricey, I thought that would be best since my wife is pregnant and she needs a clean home to live in. When the service began, the representative cut 2 holes into my AC ducts and stuck the nozzle of a small vacuum inside each for about 5-10 minutes. After this, he put insulation tape over the holes and began "sanitizing" the house. He walked around my home blowing the vacuum and spraying some spritzer bottle that smelled like Fabreeze. He did this in every room and then told me he was done and asked how I would like to pay the $750 . When I asked if he was finished he said yes. I then told him that he had not cleaned the vents like he was supposed to and he said he cannot touch the mold for at least 24 hours. He then insisted that cleaning the vents would cost about $1200 . He also insisted that I paid for today's cleaning in full. When I asked if he could bill me, he said that they could not do that.
I don't know what is going on but I do know that since he came and "Sanitized", my pregnant wife is feeling ill, I feel very dissatisfied, and my vents are still dirty. At least my home smells like apples and I have 2 new holes in my ducts I need to worry about.
I have requested a refund for the amount paid for the services not rendered. If there is no follow-up, I will be filing with the BBB and other services.
Hopefully, not all their services are like this.
