My sister had unfortunately damaged the metal prong of the electrical cord of my father’s tv. There are scratches and scuff marks on it. So we are unable to plug it into the electrical socket to turn it on. Is there anyone that is knowledgeable and skilled that can be recommended to repair it? The only thing that needs fixing is the metal prong and I am not sure if that can be fixed by someone skilled or am I to purchase a new electrical cord and have someone replace the entire cord? Thanks!
Edit: Here’s the link to the pic of the metal prong. http://imgur.com/Xf8W9WA
Hopefully from the pic you can see that the metal part has been damaged and I’m pretty sure if I try to plug it in I’ll cause sparks ( and maybe a fire). Oh and he lives in SW Houston area near Stafford. Thank you for being helpful!
