Hi fellow Houstonians! We recently moved into a house during the summer and needed a waste bin for waste collection. We were told that we had to request that through City of Houston (311) and they responded that it would be delivered in two weeks. Weeks passed and nothing was delivered. I called and the request was "expedited" by the supervisor, whatever the fuck that means. Maybe the garbage collection service company is understaffed, idk. It's been more than a month we have to drop off garbage to the nearest dumpster. I'm pretty sure now with post-Harvey priorities and tasks, this request will even take longer. We might just give up on the hope that the bin will be deliver and buy a waste bin. Any tips or advice about this???
