How can schools around America help Houston and other parts of Texas recover?

Post Body

Although I know the first part of the hurricane is over, I also know there will be a lot of efforts to help people all over the coast of Texas recover for many more weeks, if not months. How can schools help, preferably not donating cash? What supplies do you think would be most helpful for the displaced and maybe even homeless people? By the way, I am a high schooler so I guess we can maybe contribute a little more, if you get what I mean?
