Recently started parking at IAH instead of Ubering. I cannot figure out the color system returning to my car and always end up in the wrong garage, having to walk in the road across garages to get to my car (e.g., ended up in blue and had to walk to purple). I’m pretty sure the garage elevator by baggage claim (inside, not outside) says blue/purple. Is there no elevator that goes to purple? Do you always just have to walk a ways to get to whatever color you’re parked at? I feel like it should be easier than this but knowing this airport it rarely is. Am I missing something?
Honestly, it's pretty easy, but to be fair, it's easy to forget after a flight.
Either write it down or take a picture of the elevator before you leave.
