Should I come to HTX tonight? (Re: Beryl)
Post Body

I lived in HTX for 25 years and grew up on the gulf coast...I've been through plenty of hurricanes and tropical storms from Alicia to Harvey.

I have business on the West side (energy corridor) tomorrow and Tuesday, but I haven't found news about where I plan to go, if they're closing, adjusting, etc.

My hotel is booked and paid for, and while I'm not "afraid" of the storm, I'm not sure whether or not it's worth it.

I'm watching the weather and I just keep flip flopping...

Native Houstonians, What would y'all do?

Edit: I'm traveling East from Central Texas.

I'm leaning towards coming into town tonight, hunkering down in the hotel tomorrow, and getting up and doing business on Tuesday, and I can stay till Wednesday if needed.  That way my traveling is before and after the storm.. 🤔
