So I know this post is way different than the normal post here but there’s literally no home healthcare nurses/caregiver to be found in my area and I really need someone to help out so I can do the things in life I want to do while I still can and also so my mom (who is my main caretaker) can get a break, because she really needs one.
Looking for someone who can do at least 3 days a week but maybe be open to M-F
About me: I’m goofy sometimes but sometimes I’m sad. I’m on the nerdy side, I like to read and wish I can write more. Health wise I can give you the finer details once we start talking but I consider myself terminal, as in I don’t think I have a year left, but overall I’m not sickly all the time or anything. I’m on a ventilator so ideally you would get trained on what to do for all the trach stuff or have prior experience but it’s by no means rocket science, the trach stuff is intuitive once you see how it works. What I really need help with is painting, going out to see things like museums, keep me on schedule for the book I’m trying to write, helping me pee, and just in general I need someone that can help me do the things I’ve been wanting to do and also help me get my affairs in order. It’s just my mom and I and I can’t find it in my heart to ask her to take me to my local funeral home so I can ask the questions I have and set the things up that need to be set up so it’s not all on her in the end.
About you: Willing to learn how to do trach stuff if you don’t already, have good hygiene, 420 friendly because I need help partaking, doesn’t mind helping me pee, adventurous (because, I mean, 🍄 and a museum trip is on the bucket list lol) Bonus points for being pretty (not a requirement I’m just being cheeky at this point)
I want to finish this last chapter with as many good memories as possible and exploring new hobbies or just painting lol I’ve been wanting to paint for like a year now it’s just that we’ve lost all our nursing/caregiver and I don’t have anyone else and my poor mom is already overwhelmed and has been for a while. If you’re interested please message me, if you’ve made it this far please consider my situation and take it to heart, my last 4 years have looked the same more or less and I don’t want to die being down in the dumps, I need someone’s help living the rest of my to the fullest, we might be best friends and it may become one of your highlights in life, you might even learn something valuable. I hope to hear from someone soon.
