Houston's lack of theme parks is pretty well-documented at this point, but does anyone remember the indoor/outdoor "fun parks" that used to be all over the city?
Celebration Station and Mountasia were two memorable names, and had stuff like bumper boats, batting cages, minigolf, go-karts, an arcade, etc. for kids to run around and blow off steam on the weekends.
Do these sort of parks exist anymore? Even if they're indoor, that would be fine, I just have a little one and realized I don't see them around much these days.
Rip Discovery Zone and Peppermint Park, too.
Edit: ITT no transplants
Although we love those folks, too.
