Post Body

Has anyone grown plants vertically in moss poles only, without the soil in the pot at the bottom?

Let me explain it. I got bored and wanted to try to grow plants on a moss pole. But only moss as the substrate. Like put the root in moss pole too and attach to let it grow vertically, without having a root system in the soil.

I mean eventually roots will grow into the moss. I see people end up separating the top pole and make it into a new plant. I guess it may work out this way too (ie no soil).

Anyone has any experience in this?
