I started house plants since Oct 2023. Survival rate is about 70% ish. Mainly philodendron, monsteras, and various of pothos and potho-alike. I may have killed my big monstera today by checking the roots due to stunted growth. Probably gonna go into shock tmr๐ซ
Now before any accusations and questions โwhy did you have to check itโ - I do suffer chronic anxiety and depression so please be kind.
How do you overcome the guilt and sadness of losing plants? Majority of mine is thriving it as good as they can be. But at this stage any plants that showing signs of sickness makes me guilty and sad and itโs not really good for mental health anymore ๐
On the side note, plants who love me and love living with me just cannot die. ๐
