Is this the best spot for this grow light or should I move it more towards the corner?

I turned off my living room lights so you can better see the amount of natural light they're getting. After doing some research I thought it might help them grow faster if I supplemented their light with a grow light. But the shelf right below where I've clipped the light has all my variegated philodendrons, my white wizard, knight, princess, and pink princess, syngonium milk confetti, and my baby thai constellation. Will this extra light have the possibility of burning the variegated leaves? Actually my variegated shelf was doing pretty well in keeping the whites of the leaves (before my trip to Texas and my recent hospital stay) I think because of the way I've layered the plants so they're somewhat shielded from direct light. But the have recently browned and I've lost quite a few gorgeous leaves. Plus I feel like everyone isn't really growing much or maybe I'm delusional in anticipating their growth. Either way, I really want to set my plants up for success. I know I'm no Sydney PlantGuy, but I am striving for that level of success.

After coming back from my week and a half hospital stay I lost a lost of my begonia maculatas and a lot of leaves off my white ice begonia. When I went to a local plant store the owner said the more light I give them the more spots they'll have and they'll be less likely to drop leaves. Is this true? I also heard these types of begonias should be a couple feet from your window so they don't get too much light. Which is true? I love the polka dot begonias so much, they're the main reason I got into houseplants.. but i keep killing them!

Tldr; should I move the light more ontomy polka dot begonias and away from the highly variegated philodendrons? Or should I get a while other light to shine on both?

Thank you guys so so much for the help!
