Hi yall ! My therapist said that 60 plants is too many She thinks I am hoarding them and she isn’t completely wrong. But at the same time this is my hobby. I tend to them daily, they keep me from drinking, and they make me happy. All this to say, I’m curious how many plants you guys have. Do you think you hoard ? Better yet, has anyone ever mentioned to you that you have a plant addiction/problem ?
Edit: I just wanted to thank everyone for their valuable advice. I especially want to thank any therapist that chimed in on this topic. I wanted to add that this isn’t the first time this particular psychiatrist has said insensitive things to me. I hastily called her my therapist but I should clarify that she is a psychiatrist. As some folks have pointed out, that makes a huge difference. Either way, that guilt she made me feel about my hobby didn’t sit well with me. This is why I asked y’all. Hoarding and collecting are two very different things and she should definitely be more mindful of using that terminology.
