cat likes to eat bird’s nest fern leaves

gonna keep it out of reach as a late precaution but ~50% of the leaves have nibbled tips. i’d be content if it continued to grow normally either way but was wondering if cutting some of those leaves off later would be better? it’s only in a 4” pot and there wouldn’t be much to salvage. or should they be left alone?
