I've been looking at books similar to HoL from other authors and "S." caught my interest, but reviews I've read seem very divided. Some believe it's as good as HoL, but others find it boring as a whole, so I'm not sure what to think without buying and diving into it. I like the overall premise because it is similar enough to House of Leaves, but still seems unique and contains related content not physically connected to it (like photos, etc). And the book itself looks and supposedly feels like what an old book should be.
